Try to memorize the hands of the poker.
Learn the procedures to play properly. This involves learning when to say, when to bet etc. once you are comfortable with the game, you will be able to perform well. Beginners can play too many hands. In case of any doubts, they can fold. Playing with the position in the hands is very important. If you are going to act first, the information on the opponents is not available. If you were to act last, this never matters.
Folding more hands when you are the first person will help you a lot. You can on the other hand play hands when you are the last one to act. Once you get the trick to play, you can easily master the game and will be able to play well.
